--Running between closed doors. --Unwinable? -- May be A Message to America.
Running between many doors, the United States try to find a way to get IS*: Finding partners, creating a coalition, using the better of their means, but not in the ground. It's a new kind of war never tried before, and how all that is new and unknow, can not work.
Obama is trying to reshape Middle East, I think is too late to do so without a long and hard war, a war that nobody knows how will finish. Remember Vietnan? What was Vietnam, the french ex-colony devided in two? Not even a country, and defeated the USA. I understand that with this kind of radicalism, to talk is impossible. I understand to do nothing is not a solution. But to have a real solution the cost will be very high.
Le Figaro has just informed that France has just defer their first attack on a IS depot , and in the other hand United Press has informed that IS has taken many cities in Iraq, both sides are doing progress, as we can see. And as we can see it's a matter to take time. And the more time passes it will be better for those who are on the ground. They call it an unwineable war. In these molds can be! Of course it is not a war to lose, what means: use of means at a very high level, a massive action, and, of course, to have men on the ground.
In all wars along time there was psychological actions in way to influence combativity of men. The Jihad is exploiting a previous form of psychological mean: The History! Telling the History in their own perspective is telling us which reasons took them to the war anyway And these reasons are against us, without a shadow of doubt. The foolish attitudes of both Bushes make them victims in first place. If their reaction had been otherwise, they would a wide margin of reason with them. But they lost everything preferring murder. Anyway they are trying show their perspective at this 'series', that have started, so called A Message to America. They attracted the world attention first with decapitation, and now they will tell us their reasons in the voice of a british journalist. Whom to live will see.
Apart that we are living a very different time, we also have that every action we do have many significations, is the same for everyone of us, each one could be interpreted in many ways, we and them. By this reason A message could be many messages, the spirit of be psichologically effective will be always there, but in the other hand a misinterpretation will be a constant danger also in many ways. Because of that I believe We are running between colsed doors.
*IS - Islamic State, also called ISIS remind us a merciful goddess of ancient Egypt, which is hardly connoted with this 'state'.
