A Newspaper, like a person without sense of humor, is not trustable.
Somebody at The New York Times with good sense of humor, had chosen a portuguese cartoon to illustrate some page at The NYT. After that, somebody censored the cartoon. A bad attitude, a bad idea. Trump like a blind, what he is, leaded by a Bibi dog, it's so eloquent, that nobody can deny. But a respectable newspaper refusing the already published image, it's in some way a wrested idea, unacceptable to the free press, of that what somebody can understand to be free.
Censorship is always a bad idea, but is not about the idea my concern. It's about the attitude! In a marked where everybody is asking to nobody DO NOT TO TREMBLE AT THINGS, it's very dangerous if this marked, this area of human action, is using censorship to keep the head out of the water, above all if this area being the free press (or a press expected as such).
In my way of seeing and my sense of understanding, the politically correct can not strangle the right of expression. The politically incorrect have such power of expression, what make them, sometimes, much more important than any other form of tell things. Lost this is to loose the counterpoint of everything.
I feel very sorry for an amputated NYT.
